What is yoga?

Hatha Yoga

Yoga means the union of body, mind and soul, which leads us to ourselves, where you don't have to be anything, but are only allowed to be.

Hatha Flow is a flowing form of Hatha Yoga in which the postures (asanas) you have learned are combined with deep breathing. Hatha Yoga Flow thus combines the calmness of classical Hatha Yoga with a certain dynamism of Vinyasa Yoga.

We move powerfully or gently, quickly or slowly - but always mindfully and in connection with our breathing.

At the end of each class, we consciously relax our body and mind.

You develop physical and mental strength, train balance and flexibility, mobilize your cardiovascular system and calm your nervous system.

Yin Yoga

“ In Yin, we learn to listen to our bodies and respect their wisdom” - unknown

Yang-oriented yoga is more dynamic, powerful and active. The practice focuses more on the muscular tissue and the cardiovascular system, while yin yoga works more on the ligaments, fascia and joints. In yin yoga, the postures (asanas) are held for 3 to 10 minutes, usually in a completely passive manner. As a result, gravity and your own body weight exert pressure and tension on the solid structures in the body, which become looser and more supple over time.

Yin yoga is a wonderful complement to yang-emphasized hatha or vinyasa yoga and restorative yoga.

Pregnancy and postnatal yoga

The yoga practice is designed to help you focus your attention on yourself and your baby. We practice breathing exercises integrated into movement sequences that give your body strength, stamina, elasticity and shape for a self-determined pregnancy and birth. You will learn relaxation techniques and how to control your pelvic floor muscles so that you can consciously tense and relax them.

Yoga for children and teenagers

In my courses, children not only learn physical exercises, but also mindfulness, relaxation techniques and self-confidence. Yoga can help children to reduce stress, improve their concentration and promote their physical health.
